A few things
worth knowing.

What do I need to get started?

An Apple Vision Pro and access to a Plex, Jellyfin or Emby media server with your own films and series. Kinemavision is a player for your collection; it doesn’t include movies or streaming subscriptions.

Can I use more than one media server?

Yes. Connect multiple Plex, Jellyfin and Emby accounts, then choose which movie, series and trailer libraries to show. Playback progress remains linked to the account that owns the film.

Which video and 3D formats are supported?

Kinemavision directly plays supported H.264 and HEVC files, including compatible MKV and MP4 containers, with HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision Profile 5 support. Side-by-side, top-and-bottom and MV-HEVC (MP4/MOV) films can play in 3D. MVC Blu-ray files play in 2D; disc images aren’t supported. Compatibility depends on the file and device.

Do I need an Apple TV?

No. Enjoy the complete cinema on Apple Vision Pro using its own audio. The optional Kinema Link companion adds synchronized playback through an Apple TV connected to your soundbar or home-theatre receiver.
